With over 27 years of experience in the affordable housing industry, Patrice Walker brings a plethora of knowledge and expertise to clients and her staff.  Since she has a passion for teaching and helping others succeed in this industry, she puts an abundance of time and effort in assisting others maneuver the ever-changing HUD requirements.  Her past experiences as a successful Sr. Director of Compliance, Regional Director, Asset Manager, 504 Coordinator, and Financial Analyst for noteworthy management agencies and the HUD Contract Administrator for the states of Texas and Arkansas proves that she has the knowledge to make Project-based Section 8 properties HUD-compliant.  She is known in this industry as the one who has successfully attained 50% and more of subsidy rent increases by way of Budget-Based Rent Increase submissions! Patrice has conducted and written hundreds of Management and Occupancy Review  (MOR) reports and fully understands the requirements set forth by HUD's Handbook 4350.3.  As such, she understands the importance of maintaining compliance and has successfully challenged several other inspector's MOR scores, on behalf of her clients, to have had them overturned from Below Average to Satisfactory and some from Satisfactory to Superior.
